Summer Camp – Ages 5 thru 12 years

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at First School Summer Camp! Designed for children ages 5–12, our summer program blends hands-on learning with fun-filled activities that spark imagination, creativity, and curiosity. Each week features a unique theme, ranging from science experiments and outdoor exploration to art, music, and nature studies, ensuring something new and exciting every day.

Children enjoy a safe, nurturing environment where they can build friendships, gain independence, and continue developing essential life skills through the Montessori approach. With experienced staff, engaging projects, water play & outdoor games, our camp offers the perfect balance of enrichment and summer fun. Whether for a couple of weeks or the entire summer, your child will love being part of our learning-filled adventure!

Among the activities planned are basketball tournaments, field hockey, softball, soccer, track & field, t-ball, potato-sack races, water balloon contests, arts & crafts, and so much more! Prizes will be awarded in all categories.

Adventures will be taken to such places as trips to local parks, lunches at local sandwich shops, library, mini golf, fire department tour and visit, local movie theater, field trips to local attractions, hiking trails, local police department, tour thru 911 center, magic show, bowling, children’s museum, and zoo.
We will have daily water activities including water slides, sprinklers, & more! Also planned are cooking class to make and prepare my own lunch, art class, making bird houses, science experiments, gardening, and olympic games.

Summer Camp should be a time when children can experience true summer fun with the happy memories of friends, places and laughter.

Registration and tuition depends on location. Please bring a copy of your child’s physical form at registration.

First School Summer Camp – Come Join The Summer Fun

• 8:30 - 9:00: Breakfast
• 9:00 - 11:30: Sport / Water Activities – alternating every half hour between the two incorporating activities such as basketball, soccer, football, kickball, field hockey, frisbee, softball, volleyball, potato-sack races, waterslides, slip and slides, sprinklers & all types of water fun
• 11:30 - 12:00: Lunch Time!
• 12:00 - 12:30: Playground Equipment – Slides, jungle gyms, ball toss, tag, swings, etc... more & more outdoor activities
• 12:30 - 2:00: Sport / Water Activities – Alternating every half hour between the two (see above)
• 2:00 - 2:30: Clean Up – Put away water activities, get changed back into play clothes
• 2:30 - 2:45: Snack Time!
• 2:45 - Home: Activity Recaps, Discuss Tomorrow’s Events – computers, board games, foosball, table tennis, arts & crafts

Special Theme Days & Events

• Field Trip Days: Refer to calendar for the field trip of the week. Must have a signed permission slip form on file.
• Fun Food Day: Hot dogs, corn-on-the-cob, watermelon, & ice cream in the afternoon. Variety of events & receive prizes!
• Rainy Days / Carnival Days: Movie and pop our own popcorn, Bingo, ring toss, “Bozo” buckets, bean bag toss, etc. Prizes are rewarded to everyone!
